The Source

From the Source

Coffee grows in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains between Clydesdale and Cinchona, approximately 5,500 feet above sea level.

The Beginning

What Began in 1990

Nomlas Farm began as a small, family-run hobby operation. Over time, it developed into a thoughtful enterprise in farming, processing and export—rooted in care for the land and the people who work it.

THE PEOPLE

Knowledge Built Through Experience

Behind each harvest is a dedicated workforce whose training and knowledge of coffee cultivation and management have been developed over years of hands-on experience.
There is pride in the work and in the quality of the green coffee produced.

Care at every stage

From Cherry to Green Bean

From the moment ripe coffee cherries are picked, each stage is handled with care to protect the quality of the coffee before it ever leaves the farm.

Hand-picked
Pulped & washed
Sun-dried
Rested
Hulled
Graded & hand-sorted

Only cherry-ripe berries are hand picked. After harvesting, the cherries are pulped and washed as wet parchment, then sun dried for approximately 8–10 days until they reach 10–12% moisture. The dried parchment is rested for approximately 8–10 weeks before being hulled and graded. Finally, the green beans are hand sorted to remove defective beans before they are prepared for sale.

QUALITY & TRACEABILITY

Small Lots. Clear Origin.

Nomlas Farmz maintains quality through proper agricultural practices and handles its green coffee as microlots, allowing the coffee to remain readily traceable.

For SoulPeak, knowing the source means more than knowing a country of origin. It means understanding who produced the coffee, where it was grown, and the care it received before it reached us.
